Macton Corp. announces expansion of Parts & Service department

Continuing the comprehensive parts and long-term service support for all Macton products, recent expansions of staff and resources in the customer service and engineering departments allows Macton to deliver complete service contracts and upgrade packages for both new projects and the large international installed base.
“With the integration of our Enterprise Resource Planning system complete, and the addition of a full-time dedicated customer service staff, we can now offer both our new and long-term customers an additional element to our quality installations,” says David Perkins, Macton Corporation President and CEO. The expansion of Macton parts and service also offers a great resource for upgrades, especially in the area of control systems. “We have mechanical assemblies that are still running nicely after 50 years in the field, but control system integration in modern facilities has become a front of rapid change and innovation. We are constantly doing R&D on making our installations compatible with the ‘latest and greatest’ in control technology. We now offer update packages for our installed base, with ability to upgrade system components whenever appropriate.” Covering all of Macton’s product lines and specialized industries, the expanded parts and service support offers great opportunity, says Mr. Perkins: “We know that almost all of our systems are installed in environments were there is virtually no failure or downtime tolerance, and we take pride in that. As engineers and manufacturers, we’re excited about the ability to place our staff of experts in the field to oversee servicing, inspections and upgrades. With our staff additions, the same engineers and technicians that delivered the original systems are able to spend more time in the field, responsible for continued flawless performance.
